SHIPPING POLICY
Once full payment has been received, you can schedule to have your Gecko(s) shipped. We ship via FedEx Priority Overnight.
We ship gecko(s) out on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays for overnight delivery. We will only ship your gecko(s) when daytime high temperatures are between 38°F and 91°F, and we always recommend having your gecko “held for pickup” at your nearest FedEx Ship Center. If weather conditions do not permit shipping, we will hold onto your Gecko(s) at no additional charge until conditions are favorable. We do not issue refunds in the event we cannot ship due to unsafe weather. In most cases, your shipment will arrive by 10:30am, but if you live in a remote area, delivery could be later in the day.
NOTE: Shipments must be scheduled at least 1 business day in advance.

All geckos, and live animals, regardless of how many you order in a single shipment, will ship for just $55 to anywhere in the Continental United States.
International shipments to be arranged by the buyer through a third party service.
An email with tracking information will be sent to you before your order is shipped. We cannot be responsible for carrier delays, but we will work with you to keep you informed of updates.
Correct Shipping Information Must Be Provided!
Always make sure to double-check the shipping information you provide when ordering from us. We are not responsible if the shipment information you provided is incorrect. In addition to your address, we require your email and daytime phone number. This information is required for FedEx Live Animal Shipments.
We HIGHLY recommend having your gecko "held for pickup" at your nearest FedEx Ship Center location. If you are not sure where to find the nearest location, please contact us for assistance. Alternatively, we can ship your gecko to your residence or place of business. Please note that there is no way to indicate special delivery requests on a shipping label. These packages are delivered in the same manner as any other FedEx package. There is no guarantee that FedEx will deliver in any exact way, only that they will deliver to the address on the label.
NOTE: We require confirmation that someone will be there to receive the shipment at the time of the first delivery attempt. We cannot guarantee live animal delivery when the gecko has been trucked around on the back of a hot or cold truck all day!
NOTE: We do not offer net terms. All orders must be paid in full before we will ship out your order.
LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE
We offer a Live Arrival Guarantee when you have your gecko held for pickup at your nearest FedEx Ship Center. We cannot guarantee live arrival for home, business or international deliveries, but if that is your only option, please remember that we will do everything we can to pack in anticipation of delays, and will always pack and ship your gecko(s) as safely as possible.
The health of the geckos we breed and sell are of the utmost importance to us. In the highly unlikely event that your gecko arrives in bad shape or deceased, you must contact us immediately. If the gecko is still alive we will attempt to help remedy the problem before it's too late. If the gecko arrived dead we require digital pictures be sent to [email protected] within 30 minutes of delivery. If we determine your claim to be valid in accordance with our Live Arrival Guarantee when packages are picked up from a FedEx ship center, we will help find a suitable replacement gecko for you. We do not issue refunds under any circumstances. The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges associated with replacements. All guarantees are void if your are unable to pickup your gecko from the ship center the first day that they are available for pickup, and/or if we are not contacted within 30 minutes of pickup.
A replacement animal(s) must be requested, shipped and received by the customer within 90 days of the original ship date. Health claims exceeding 90 days will be considered null and void, no exceptions.
Everything is shipped from a smokeless home.
Please note that Water Girl Creations is an exclusively online, and trade show business and does not have a storefront at this time. This being said, customers may arrange a local pickup as opposed to a shipment if they so please. If you are located locally (Baton Rouge, Louisiana), then we can arrange to meet up to avoid shipping costs.
HOLDS/ PAYMENT PLANS

We will hold animals during periods of poor weather, for any amount of time necessary and at no additional charge to the customer.
Please contact us prior to sending a deposit. Until a deposit or payment is received, all geckos are for sale to any customer. Animals can be placed on hold with a 25% non-refundable deposit ($50 minimum). All payment plans MUST be paid off within 30 days of initial deposit unless other arrangements have been agreed upon. No payment plans will be accepted during the off season unless you accept that your gecko will be held until shipping temperatures are acceptable. All payments done with a payment plan are NON-REFUNDABLE. If full payment is not received within 30 days, we will put the animal back up for sale and you will forfeit your down payment. If you back out of your payment plan, the animal will be re-posted for sale and all payments that were made toward the animal will not be refunded. We will not offer payment plans to customers that have backed out of payment plans before. You will be required to pay in full to do business with us once more. If for any reason we cannot provide the animal that has been held, a refund will be given or a substitute animal can be offered. Trades may be accepted on a case-by-case basis. If a trade is agreed upon, you must ship first.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or internationally. That being said, many of our customers arrange to have their geckos exported through the use of a third party service. We DO NOT offer our LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE on international shipments. While we have not had any incidents so far, the risks are inherently higher with many aspects out of our control. If you are exporting a gecko from us, you do so at your own risk.
GUARANTEES
We are available for help with care any time, and are NOT responsible for geckos once in your possession.
Our main goal is to make every transaction a pleasant experience. If any problems arise, please be assured that we will make it right! Our reputation is very important to us and we have built and maintained our good name by providing great animals and products as well as excellent customer service. In the unlikely event that there is a problem with any items or animals, we ask that you keep the details of the problems private. You must first contact us and allow us the time (up to 2 weeks) to review your claim, and figure out a suitable arrangement to replace your products or animals.
Posting details of the transaction, problem, or claim, on any public forum or website is a direct violation of this policy and will result in the immediate and unconditional void of our guarantee.
Sometimes geckos will drop their tails as a defense mechanism. Gargoyle geckos do regrow their tails, but they are often black and white and lacking the original color. If a gecko for sale has previously dropped its tail, it will be very clearly stated. If you have already purchased a gecko or are in the process of a payment plan and the gecko drops its tail, you will be notified; however, there will be no discount on the gecko as this will not affect the health of your gecko. It is very rare but geckos can drop their tails during shipping. They can also drop their tails when stressed and sometimes for no apparent reason at all. It is a natural occurrence and it has no effect on their health or breeding ability. We are not responsible and no compensation will be given if your gecko drops its tail during or after shipping.
Once the animal is in the hands of the buyer, it's health and well-being is beyond our control and therefore we will not be held responsible for any sickness or accidents once they are in your care. Our geckos leave our hands in 100% health.
Color: Please keep in mind that there are variations in computer/phone/tablet screen colors, but we do our best to get representative photos of our animals. We add in a watermark on all pictures, but do absolutely no touch up or digital alteration of the gecko or photo itself in any way. Gecko colors change with different factors including environment, stress, time of day, mate availability, etc. Coloration also tends to change as a hatchling matures into an adult. Coloring tends to get better and more intense, often working in surprises as the gecko ages. If a gecko has genetic possibility for a specific coloring, it will be noted in the animal's comment section. Older geckos are more set in their colors and adults will be as they are in their sale photo. Remember that all crested and gargoyle geckos 'fire up' and 'fire down'. Sex: Any gecko sold as male or female is guaranteed to be sexed correctly. Any gecko sold as possible (~60+% confidence) or probable (~90% confidence) is NOT guaranteed. It is the best guess we have at the time, which could change as the gecko grows. Pore sexing is done with a 60x LED lighted loupe.
RETURNS
All live animal sales are final. In order to protect our collection, no returns will be accepted.

All sales are final. Please do not place an order if you are not 100% sure you can commit to the purchase of the animal(s).
If full payment is not received within 30 days, we will put the animal back up for sale and you will forfeit your down payment. If you back out of your payment plan, the animal will be reposted for sale and all payments that were made toward the animal will not be refunded.
If you wish to cancel the order due to a delay in us shipping out as a result of temperatures, it is still non-refundable. Animal safety and health are our number one concern. We are happy to reschedule the shipment for a future date that would work for you (Monday-Wednesday) as long as temperatures cooperate.
